Pathways to Success

This overnight conference encourages outstanding young women to succeed academically and in their chosen career.

The programme is run in conjunction with the University's Open Days and includes:

  • workshops and discussions about opportunities and the nature of success
  • talks from inspirational women about their careers and choices
  • detailed information on applying to the University of Cambridge

Feedback from 2016:   'Excellent and inspirational', 'Explanations clear and meaningful', 'a brilliant experience that offered a unique and active insight into Cambridge university life''Our girls were thrilled to have had this amazing opportunity'.

Who are these events for?

Each year we welcome around 100 students and their teachers.  (Each selected school is invited to send one teacher and up to four outstanding students from Year 12.) The event is free for those attending and very popular.

Pathways 2017 will be held on July 5th-6th.  Participants arrive shortly after lunch on Wednesday July 5th and leave the College to join the University Open Day or to travel home after lunch on Thursday July 6th.  We look forward to welcoming all our 2017 attendees.

Invitations are sent out in spring.  If your school is interested in receiving an invitation to a future Pathways conference, we would be pleased to hear from you. Please email our Schools Liaison Officer, Catherine Rowley:
